BAND Messaging App Instructions
The Johnston Community School District has required all sports to use a group messaging app for communication. With our old app going out of business the district would like us to use the BAND Messaging App. Below you can find instructions on how to sign up. It is very simple. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS FOR THE GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM THEN YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN.
Download the BAND Messaging App onto your phone from the app store
Click on this link BAND MESSAGING APP - This link takes you directly to our invite page
1- Click on "Join Group Now"
2- Choose which way you want to sign-up - Google, Facebook, Email, or Phone (I just signed up with my google account)
3- Please make sure your username is your First and Last Name.
** IF YOU JUST PUT A FIRST NAME WE WON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE
4- Thats it, you will now be able to get messages sent out for the basketball programs
